Keon Rahzeem Michell was born on December 30, 1991 in Atlanta, GA. He is the only child of Debra Ann Mitchell with three other siblings on his Nigerian side, Suzan, Nosa, and Kelly. After graduating from Southwest Dekalb High School, Keon enrolled at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, graduating with a Bachelor's in computer science. During his senior year, he decided to pursue an acting career - a dream he always wanted to chase. He signed up for his first acting class ever at NCATSU before graduating which lead him to pursue acting classes in Raleigh, NC, where he was able to maintain his corporate career as a Business Systems Analyst as well.
His first attempt to sign up for classes at the Raleigh Little Theatre
turned into his first opportunity to perform on stage in a play
based on the cake walk that originated in Florida in the late
1800s called "Mirandy and Brother Wind". Keon played
Brother Wind, a mystic. This opportunity served as a
significant eye-opener for Keon, leading him to
Charlotte, NC.
During his tenure in Charlotte, he filmed his very first
project, on camera for ESPN, as the leading man,
being a high school football player in 2015. Shortly
after his national television debut, he was granted
the opportunity to join the cast of David E.
Talbert's "Almost Christmas" (2016) as the role of
Young Walter. In 2016, Keon began honing in on
his craft and is currently making major strides to
reaching his end goal of being a part of the next
generation of American actors.
